Sailing at Roton Point
For over 60 years, Roton Point has been a great place for sailing. Our sailing bay, protected by two jetties, is the perfect place to launch beach catamarans and small boats, and club boats are available for member use.
Learn to sail:
From junior sailors on Optis, Pixels, and Fevas to adults on Hobies and more, Roton Pointers are encouraged to take advantage of our great location on Long Island Sound.
Take a class:
Junior sailors learn sailboat handling skills, water safety, boat rigging, and basic racing strategy, with morning classes for novice sailors and afternoon classes for experienced sailors. Classes are coordinated with the swim team and tennis clinics so juniors can participate in all three activities. Adult sailing lessons are also available!
